I've been listening to Peace For Today for more than 40 years now, and although the programs may be something I have heard before, they do refresh my mind and soul with rules for living that have been around forever. People ask me how I came across Peace for Today. Of course it was through Marge, when the both of us served on our condominium board. At that time, I was going through a tough period in my life and she gave me a few tapes and past issues of the Branch. After reading and listening, I was amazed at the common sense message that was so true to life without being preachy. I also found out there was a wealth of wisdom in the PFT archives. When asked to help the organization out, I was only happy to, and have grown into a better human being because of it. My Tom passed suddenly, no pain but his heart just quit as I just finished feeding him. Tom had MS (diagnosed in 1975) and diabetes for 10 years. He was a quadriplegic from MS. He daily listened to Ken Haystead as he drove to work and he derived such peace and faith from you all. I was able to attend a seminar in Seattle a long time ago. The tapes and materials he purchased were well used. We no longer have Peace for Today on radio but still listen to many tapes.
